Elections are an essential feature of a democratic state. They are important in implementing the country's democratic reforms.

Within the framework of the month “Propaganda of Electional Legislation" the meeting was held between students of Journalism and Mass Communication university and the chairman of the International Press Club, a member of the CEC, Sherzodkhon Kudratkhodjaev, the main producer of the International Press Club, Gulomjon Samadov, as well as the head of the International Press Centre, Jaloliddin Usmanov at the International Press Center of the Central Election Commission.

As the speakers of the meeting noted, the upcoming elections will be held in a completely different way: we, the representatives of the young generation, can also witness this, observing the election process, as well as taking part in it.

- The role of the media during the election is great. We have a big task: to increase the activity of citizens in the participation of elections. And for this, we must be creative. For example, to organize polls, cover elections from a different point,- noted Sherzodkhon Kudratkhodjaev.

Jaloliddin Usmanov emphasized that the International Press Center also is covering elections in social networks, thereby urging young people to be involved in the election process. We have to mention hat the International Press Centre operates in social networks such as Telegram, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter.

Besides it, the student of the 2nd master's course of the Journalism and mass communication university, Yulduz Urmonova was awarded with special certificate as she has become the owner of the Presidential Scholarship. 10 servicemen have graduated courses of military journalism. So, they also were awarded with special diplomas.
