Today, another historic event has occurred in the life of Journalism and mass communication university of Uzbekistan. From now on, JMCU will cooperate with the famous Chinese company - Huawei. The signing of the memorandum between the two sides was proof of it. The main goal of the cooperation is support from Huawei in the development of the university’s information technology centre and the implementation of joint projects.

Huawei is one of the world's largest telecommunications companies. In 1987, the former officer, deputy head of the Engineering Corps of China, Ren Zhengfei, decided to establish his own company and take part in the technological development of the Middle Kingdom with it. For his company, Ren Zhengfei coined the name Huawei, which has a double meaning: the first syllable from the Chinese language translates as "delicious", but at the same time also means "China." The second syllable means "action" or "achievement." As a result, Huawei can be translated as "magnificent achievement" or as "acts of China."

The company itself has existed in the market of Uzbekistan since 1999. It cooperates with local telecom operators, Internet service providers, system integrators and state-owned companies. The company also pays great attention to social corporate responsibility, implementing a number of social projects aimed at supporting and developing talents in the field of ICT and media space, as well as exchanging experience with industry representatives in China.

The leadership and students of the university also got acquainted with the activities of Huawei. Students asked various questions, one of which related to the speed of the Internet and the quality of communication, to which the company employees answered as follows: “To achieve a good speed of the Internet, you can install special solar panels on telecommunication antennas in a certain area. And in order to explain their advantages to customers, we need strong PR specialists. "

Why do we need Huawei products? Thanks to the information technology developed by Huawei, we can have 5-speed Internet and a 4K camera. The company will also be able to use solar energy to improve the quality of communications in remote areas of the country.
