Specialty "Print media": 222 students studying in this specialty. Students of this speciality will be able to work with text in any kind of journalism. Sports journalism: 149 students study in this specialty. Students of this specialty are taught sports skills, coverage of live broadcasts, commenting. In this faculty students are taught such subjects as: media coverage of unusual sports, media coverage of winter sports, Uzbek sports in the international arena, water sports competitions in the media, information services in sports, sports sites on the Internet, news and reporting skills in sports journalism, genres in sports journalism.

Military journalism: 134 students study in this specialty. After the 1st, 2nd and 3rd courses, having thoroughly studied the theoretical and practical materials, students are transferred to the 4th course of military training, where they consolidate their knowledge. These are: stringer in military journalism, military training, international and humanitarian law, specialization in military journalism, analytical and artistic journalistic genres in military journalism, news and reporting skills in military journalism.
