The University of Journalism and Mass Communication of Uzbekistan and The University of Nebrija of Spain signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on September 11, 2019.
The University of Nebrija was founded in Madrid in Spain in 1995 and was named after the founder of Spanish grammar Antonio de Nebrija. It takes second place in the rankings of private universities in Madrid and sixth in the country. The university has seven faculties and majors in many fields of education. The Faculty of Communication and Arts offers such educational areas as journalism, audio-visual communication, advertising and PR, marketing, digital and multimedia design.
At the end of the discussions, the representatives of both sides signed the Memorandum of Cooperation that will give new possibilities for implementing new projects in education and media, establishing scientific and cultural cooperation, two-level (3 + 2 and 4 + 1) diploma programs, exchanging of professors, staff and students, distance education and online lectures between the universities.
